Linux/LINUXEZSDK-SITARA: USB serial gadget issue

Part Number: LINUXEZSDK-SITARA

Tool/software: Linux

Hello All,

I am using sitara am335x based custom board which is closely related to beaglebone black, I am using Ti based linux v4.9.28. In that I want to  use usb serial gadget device for data logging. I have enabled all related components of usb serial gadget in kernel using make menuconfig. I have written one simple application for getting usb data from host machine. I am getting that data correctly from host. for that I need to run binary file from shell terminal. to overcome that I have written a script to autorun usb binary file.without giving the command from terminal.

But the problem is that if I doesnt connect console port(usb to serial) to Host port my usb gadget port doesnt get detected in my windows device manager it gives unknown device error. But if again when I connect usb console debug port then usb gadget serial port gets detected.

Please guide me about this problem.

Best Regards,

Vishvajeet
