Dear TI Champs

The TI J6 entry TI design TIDEP-0097 has 2 GPS modules on it. isnt it?

Does it have the GPS Drivers on Linux and Android for

1. WL187x

2. Ublox GPS module.

Could you please share the link for the SDK that supports these drivers? Processor SDK for DRA7xx Data sheet or release notes or SW dev guide do not seem to clear this ambiguity.

BTW, what alternate DRA HW EVMs/ref designs support GPS HW and/or SW?

Hi Feroz,

We don't have software support for GPS module on TI Design board.

Other DRA7xx EVMs have connection slot available to connect a WiLink8Q module.
You need to buy the module separately - https://svtronics.com/COM8Q

Regarding SW support for this module, please check the WiLink forum - e2e.ti.com/.../wilink_wifi_bluetooth

So no drivers for WL18xx nor uBlox GPS module.

Is the GPS HW validated any point on these ? Or is it untested part of HW?

DRA7xx SDKs don't support GPS.
It is better answered in WiLink forum.
