66AK2G12: QSPI interface NOR flash memory size

I found in TRM that QSPI interface has data register space 64MB. I don't clearly understand the consequences of it. Does it mean that I can interface it only with flash memory with that memory size? I actually want to use 128MB NOR flash with one chip select. So I would like to know if it is possible. Thanks for any answer or advice.

    Hi Kamil,

    You can access 128 MB QSPI flash in Indirect mode.
    From TeraNet's view only 64 MB is available to QSPI (0x2400_0000 to 0x27ff_ffff) so the maximum QSPI memory that you can access in direct or memory mapped mode at given point of time is 64 MB only.

    Also, please note that the 66AK2G12 ROM boot doesn't support 4 byte addressing, so the initial boot image needs to be <16MB.
