Hi E2E,

What is the difference between 66AK2H06DAAW2 and 66AK2H06AAAW2?

Between H06 and the AAW, what do A and D signifies?

There is also a part number 66AK2H06BAAW2, with letter B.

I understand that the only active parts are 66AK2H06Dxxxxx.

Hi Carlo,

This is the Silicon Revision of the SoC, see Figure 12-1. C66x DSP Device Nomenclature (Including the 66AK2Hxx Device).

A is for rev. 1.0 and D is for rev. 3.1. As for what is the difference between silicon revisions, see the Errata fixes & Usage notes in 66AK2Hxx Multicore DSP+ARM KeyStone II SOC Errata (Revs 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.1)

Carlo,

Can you please clarify the reason for the question. Only PG 3.1 revision should be the order able part for this variant.

The part number nomenclature is provided in the datasheet along with the errata. If your customer is trying to upgrade then errata is the correct document to refer for the list of changes. If for some reason they want the same software to run across the PG versions, they can use JTAGID register to check the PG version in software.
