BEAGLEBOARD-X15: From where to obtain Processor Linux SDK for Beagleboard-xM ?

Part Number: BEAGLEBOARD-X15

Note:  I need Linux sdk for Beagleboard-xM, not Beaglebaord-x15.

sdk is available at:  www.ti.com/.../LINUXEZSDK-SITARA

but there is following note:

I went to this website for latest software but didn't find sdk for BeagleBoard-xM

From where do I obtain Linux Processor SDK for Beagleboard-xM ?

Do I install this software in Linux Desktop PC or Windows Desktop PC ?

The latest PSDK Linux versions do NOT support  Beagleboard-xM. The latest version (based on kernel v4.19) support BeagleBone Black. I would suggest you to use this community board (BEAGLEBK), instead of Beagleboard-xM.

If you need to stay with Beagleboard-xM, note that it has very limited support and its SDK is based on kernel v3.3.7, with no plans for further updates (new features or bug fix). Check below e2e post:

  • Do I need to fill some form to get access to SDK Linux installer?

  • I was able to install Processor SDK Linux on remote Linux VM that I connect to from my Windows PC.  I typed above installation command without   |   character.  I'm not sure why there is this bitwise OR character in the installation command.

I'll retry Processor Linux SDK installation on Linux PC.
