TDA3LA: C66x video codecs library

Hi team,

1. Can I use 1 C66x core inside TDA3LA as a H.264 decoder at 480p30 resolution (High Profile)? The library requires 0.5 C66x core runing at 1.25GHz while the TDA2LA has 1 C66x core, max frequency is 745MHz.

2. What is the 480p resolution mentioned? 854 x 480 (16:9 480p) or 640 x 480 (4:3 480p) or?

3. Is 1 C66x possible to support up to 480p 60fps (High Profile)?

    HI,

    On TDA3x we usually use Vision SDK which has not included these library.

    Even we have not tested it so cannot say for sure that it will work 100%.

    Customer has to include these library and try.

    And DSP on TDA3x runs on 500MHz.

    It should be 640*480.

    3. Is 1 C66x possible to support up to 480p 60fps (High Profile)?

    On TDA3xx its not be ported and tested.

    So we cannot comment on that.
