We have bought camera module from DIGIKEY TMDSCM572X , a week back and we got A1 revision of camera. There was no mention of A1 revision or revision C of Camera on the
digikey or TI site !!!!

Now as per the forum discussions below :

Revision A1 is an obsolete part !!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately Digikey does not have a Revision C of TMDSCM572X. Can TI help in this regard !!!!!! Please help and guide !!

    Hi Himani,

    The cameras available on the Ti store should all be the rev C version.  I will check with the production team concerning the stock that is at Digikey but we don't manage their inventory.

    1. Could someone connect me to the concerned sales / product person ??

    This is so much of a mis-management on the part of TI .. A product ( camera module revision A1 ) is rendered obsolete 2 years ago and still your distributors (DIGIKEY & MOUSER ) are selling it .. DIGIKEY have no replacement or stock of revision C ..

    And as a customer , I am supposed to figure this all out .. struggle to get the right board ..............

    2. Most shocking part is that TI website is not updated of this information ..

    Is someone in TI who is responsible for this be reached out to , for resolution ?? It is so much a waste of time and energy .. We are here in India and getting hands on a revC shall be a matter of 10-12 weeks !

    Hi Himani,

    I understand your frustration. I have contacted the distributor liaisons to see if we can flush any inventory of the Rev A boards.  Are you working with a TI FAE?  I'm trying to see if there is a way we can get a replacement camera to you sooner.

    Thanks for your help and consideration.

    Sorry , I do not understand " TI FAE ". We have M/s Arrow India as the authorised distributor .

    Since the purchase in context is through DIGIKEY, maybe if they get some stock of RevC. of the camera module, then that would work out to be fastest. They have only RevA1 in stock .
