TMS320C6416: Can't connect with the board

Part Number: TMS320C6416

Hello people,

I have a TMS320C6416 board that has been inactive for a few years, and I'm trying to make it work again. There's a CD that comes with the board, and it contains the C6000 Code Composer Studio v3.0 and the DSK6416 Drivers and Target Content. During the installation of Code Composer there were a few errors while starting a few services (I'm including screenshots), even though I have admin privileges. Nevertheless, ignoring those errors concluded the installation, and the softwares were seemingly installed in my computer. However, while running the 6416 DSK Diagnostics Utility, I wasn't able to connect with the board (the board is connected to both power and USB cables, it's LEDs were on and there were no other softwares running at the same time).

I should add that those errors in the installation occured when I was using a Windows 10 machine, and when using an Windows XP one there were no errors, but I still couldn't connect with the board. That's why I didn't specify an issue with Code Composer while posting here.

I'm not sure what to do in order to fix this, since this board is approximately 15 years old.

Thanks for the help in advance!
