Hi

I'd like to connect TMDXSK437X and MCU on other EVM via USB.

Other EVM has USB2.0 type-A connect.

TMDXSK437X has USB2.0 type-A and microAB connector.

Which connect on TMDXSK437X is available to connect to other EVM?

Do I have to configure something on SDK (Linux) to do it?

    Hi,

    The type-A connector on AM437x StarterKit is a USB host port, and the micro-AB connector is a dual-role port which can operate in either host or device mode depending on the micro USB cable connected to it (micro-A cable vs. micro-B cable).

    Since the other EVM has a USB2.0 type-A connector which should be a USB host port, you should use a micro-B-to-type-A USB cable to connect the AM437x micro-AB port with the other EVM's type-A port.

    Depending on what USB function you want to use between the two EVMs, you have to load the corresponding USB gadget driver module on AM437x SK EVM.
