Hello,
I don't see your screenshot, it's broken, but I guess you are talking about the MLB subsystem.
the Datasheet gives a features list of the module without explaining in details too much. If you need functions description, then you should refer to the device Technical Reference Manual (TRM). You can download it from here: https://www.ti.com/product/DRA75P#tech-docs . So if you go the TRM chapter 26, here is and excerpt what explains logical channels:
TRM Media Local Bus (MLB) said:There is a set of physical channels implemented for exchanging data over the MediaLB 3-pin or 6-pin
interface. These physical channels (called quadlets) are 4-byte wide and can also be grouped together to
form logical channels. These logical channels are referenced using channel addresses, and define a unidirectional
path between a specific MediaLB device transmitting data and another specific MediaLB device
receiving data. In other words, the logical channel is a group of multiple quadlets, which selects an unique
pair of MediaLB devices with a unique channel address. The logical channels, configured by the system
software can be of any combination of channel types (synchronous, asynchronous, control, or
isochronous) and direction (transmit/receive).
The MediaLB channel addresses are mapped to the logical channels as shown in Table 26-2038.
Hope it helps,
thanks,
Alex
