OCTVO-3P-AM335X: Does AM335x for BeagleBone Black micro processor ROM code support RNDIS for booting from USB0?

Part Number: OCTVO-3P-AM335X
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3358

Hi,

I have BeagleBone Black with AM3358 processor. I was able to initiate a tftp file downloading ( as booting process) when the processor has a version of u-boot downloaded. The RNDIS on the Linux Host is up and running. But with the same setup on the linux host side ( except the interface names may differ). But the RNDIS adapter fails to be assigned with an IP address or the adapter interface is not up and running. What steps are missing for the ROM code setup? Is the ROM code alone ( activated as booting from usb0 by S2 switch pressed).

Thank You,

David
