Hi Eduardo,
I'm looking into this, and making sure you get support from the proper person on the hardware team.
Thanks,
Max
Hi Eduardo,
Can you clarify exactly what information you are looking for wrt the date code?

hi Shiram,
I work at VIAVI Solutions, We have been using this Part on one of our products for many years, Now we have an intermittent problem where we are looking for the root cause from FW, HW and manufacturing sides, part of this process require me to get the manufacturing dates for the parts involved and I need to know how decode the date code information in your component example below. With that information I'm trying to correlate the failures with manufacturing dates to see if there is a trend. for now we don't the root cause but I believe it is more related with manufacturing process or Stress on the board during the handling.
I really appreciate your response if I can get the information on how decode the DC on the marking.

Also, in general, the first digit of a 4-digit date code corresponds to the last digit of the year. The next letter/digit corresponds to the month (1=January, 2=February....A=October, B=November...) The last two digits correspond to a lot code.
