Hi,
SMJ320VC5416HFGW10 is a solder dipped product part number. The unit shown is solder dipped. It has solder all the way up the lead. Fyi..the other units may not have solder all the way up the lead (just on the lower/critical portion).

Dears,
The pins in the same batch of devices were either gold-plated or not. What's the reason?
Attached is the picture of the chip.
Hi,
They are all the same…they get gold plated lead frames and then they put solder on them. It is just that those 2 devices the solder wicked all the way up the pins instead of stopping at the bend…most likely there was slightly more solder on the 2 that show it. The gold plating is under the solder.

Dears,
The chip get gold plated lead frames.
However, the customer removed the gold plated lead frames during use and found that two chips in one package were not gold-plated.
Can you exchange them?
Hi,
We have discussed this with our quality department and as stated previously actual leadframe is same for all the units and all units have gold plating. The appearance of the top of the lead depends on the plating of solder of the tray of the units during the plating step. There is no defect. All units are from the same assembly lot.
Thank you for return request, but it is considered declined as the units are compliant. The extended height of the solder plating is consider cosmetic.
Fyi…the return request form is located at https://www.ti.com/support-quality/additional-information/customer-returns.html but if entered, this case would be rejected as commented above.
