Is it possible AM5729 SoC on a beagle type eval kit to run or bare metal, all the application notes seem to be showing that it runs on the linux kernel?

Yes, they are based on Linux.

The RTOS SDK does support AM5729 device.

However, it doesn't have board support for Beaglebone board so the most RTOS or bare-metal examples would not run on the board.

But it can still be use as reference if you are looking for bare-metal code.
