AM3359: Ethernet POWERLINK reference implementation for AM335x

Part Number: AM3359
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDEP0028, TMDSICE3359

Hello,

a post on this forum under [1] states that POWERLINK support for the AM3359 based on openPOWERLINK was implemented in the past.

Unfortunately, i was not able to find any further information on that on the forum or on the web. TIDEP0028 [2] and TIDUA75 [3] state that support for POWERLINK is available but i can't find a link to any implementation other than a commercial solution offered by Port.

So my questions are:

  1. Was the support using openPOWERLINK stated in [1] ever implemented and is it available as open source?
  2. If not, are there other open source reference implementations to test POWERLINK on AM335x, for example on the TMDSICE3359 board?

As a research project, we are evaluating hardware platforms which can be used for POWERLINK (particularly openPOWERLINK) in combination with microkernel operating systems.

Any further information or hints to a reference implementation are highly appreciated.

Thanks and best regards!
