Hi,

My customer wants to perform thermal evaluation on TMDX654IDKEVM.
According to TRM, there is VBGAPTS(Voltage Bandgap Reference with Temperature Sensor) inside the device.

Is this usable with SDK?
How accurate is this?

Hello Koichiro Tashiro,

It is supported on the latest SDK: http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM65X/latest/index_FDS.html

Boot to Linux command prompt and use the below commands to see the thermal zones names and temperatures read out in milli degree centigrade:

cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone*/temp
41400
43700
42600
root@am65xx-evm:~# cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone*/type
mpu0_thermal
mpu1_thermal
mcu_thermal
