DRA74P: can I replace pin2pin DRA744 with DRA746PP

Hi everybody 

apart from higher power consumption , can I replace    744 with 746P  ?  in particular  

PN DRA744BJGABCRQ1 to  DRA746PPIGABZRQ1

only difference I see is on package higher  , anything  you can highlight / confirm ?

  • Yes - the DRA746P was specifically designed to be PCB footprint compatible with the  DRA74x DRA75x devices.   There are device internal differences.  As mentioned, DRA746P power consumption can be higher (depending on usage).  Another example of difference is the DRA746P can support more bandwidth on the DDR3 interface.
