I am currently trying to configure AM65xx Eval Board as an EtherCAT Slave. To do so, I created a Project ProjectCreate.bat AM65xx arm ethercat_slave_demo. This builds fine on CCS. After that I flashed the binary to the AM65xx using the build in XDS110 Debugger. I ran the launch.js script, which shows no errors. After that, I flashed ethercat_slave_demo_AM65xx_arm.out to CortexA53_0_0. As expected, LED2, LED4, LED6 and LED7 on the IDK Application Card are now on.
However, when plugging in an Ethernet cable to ETH0 on J14, TwinCAT does not recognize the board as an EtherCAT slave. Is this the right port for EtherCAT capability? Or do I have to pay attention to other things? (I tired out all the other ports as well, but it worked for none of them.) For example on AM3359, there had to be jumpers on J18 and J19). But unfortunately, I was not able to find some kind of documentation for setting up the AM65xx as an EtherCAT slave.
