PROCESSOR-SDK-C6748: Need binaries to restore C6748 LCDK NAND

Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-C6748

I'm trying to restore the factory NAND image to my new C6748 eval board. Even though I bought it new from TI, the board appears to be used. The DIP switches were covered with some sort of clear plastic and the getting started example does not work. And the board was just sitting in the box without the usual foam etc.

I found a thread here:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/614364

that supposedly pointed to it, but it just pops up a PDF file.

Where can I find the factory NAND image?

  • David,

The link in the E2E post was pointing to a Wiki article where the binaries were posted. Given that the Processors.wiki.ti.com is being decommissioned in Jan 2021, we have converted the wiki to PDF and linked it from ti.com. We can`t provide the flash binaries from the PDF document so I have posted the binaries in the E2E sticky note that you had found around this issue.

Please revisit the e2e link that you had found. We have updated the page to provide the binaries from that location.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

  • Rahul,

    I really appreciate that.

I'm just starting with TI DSP and the wiki looks really useful. Will it be replaced with something?

    Thanks,

    Dave
