DM385: Overlapping images during video streaming / distortions and misrepresentations

Part Number: DM385

Dear all,

We use the DM385 (DaVinici) for streaming purposes for a surveillance cam (YCbCr (via VIN(0)A_xxx) -> H.264 (via MII Interface). Unfortunately, we have a lot of complains regarding image integrity (overlapping images, distortions and misrepresentations during video streaming). We made reviews regarding to our circuitry design and it's integrity as well, without any negative (obvious) findings.

We could manage to readout and log some errors reported (see attachments; marked in red) after connecting to the associated serial debug port. Unfortunately, the serial debug reports messages passes so fast the screen that a direct matching to any obvious image distortions is impossible. However, we can make logs (attached). Can someone pitch in with any descriptions, explanations, tips or hints regarding to the errors reported? Is it presumable that subject error messages (reported by the serial debug ports) stand in context to our error pattern (obvious image distortions)? Perhaps, it is a known issue.

We appreciate any kind of help and looking forward to any response. Please do not hesitate to contact us of further questions.
Thank you in advance and have a nice day.

Best regards

Steffen
