TMS320C5517: Microcontroller/processor for audio application

Hi Team,

A customer is looking for a low power, small footprint microcontroller/processor that can capture the audio from TLV320ADC6120, convert to digital and save to memory. Is TMS320C5517 a good option? If not, can you please suggest a better one.

    Do you have more details on the power, cost , performance requirement for this application? Do you have details on what is the end product?

    C5517 or C6748 should both be options depending the power/cost/footprint requirements.

    The codecs on c5517 EVM are AIC3204, so this might mean that customer has to do some amount of hardware/software development on their own to get it working with the ADC6120 over I2S/McASP etc.
