Hello Bin,
Thanks for your reply.
Now, I want to add a graphical display to my BeagleBone Black Wireless. Which of these cases will work? Will they show graphical interface or text console by default?
Hi Tim,
I am routing your query to our Display module expert for comments.
Hello,
1. For connecting HMDI monitor to BBB, please refer to the following document: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/docs/latest/linux/Foundational_Components/Graphics/AM3_Beagle_Bone_Black_Configuration.html
2. With regards to LCD, I recommend looking at the following files:
https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evmsk.dts?h=ti-linux-4.19.y#n188
https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-evmsk.dts?h=ti-linux-4.19.y#n224
We already have a LCD driver but you need to update the display timing based on your display datasheet. Also, make sure you update the pinmux based on your connections.
