Hi,

Customer connects EMIF with xilinx z7 instead of flash, is it possible to boot from z7? How to achieve this function? Thanks!

Is it possible to emulate z7 as a rom or flash, and how to implement it? Please give me some suggestions.

Nancy,

We can only offer limited support on this device due to legacy nature of the device.

The EMIF boot on this device is documented in the Bootloader application notes here:

For EMIF NOR boot, the device appears to simply setup the EMIF peripheral and branch to the base address for executing code from the flash

EMIFA CE3 (0xB000 0000)
