Hello,

Could you tell me how to get the SDK for AM570x 6-Layer PCB Reference Design?
I am referring the following site; however, I cannot find how to download the software.
www.ti.com/.../TIDEP-0100
Is it officially released?

Best Regards,
Nomo

  • You can find the available software for AM57x processors here: www.ti.com/.../PROCESSOR-SDK-AM57X

    Hello Biser-san,

Does AM57x processor SDK support the board?
I cannot find the corresponding dts file for the board.

    Best Regards,
    Nomo
  • In reply to Nomo:

This is a reference design. It's not directly supported. You will need to create your own device tree.

Please note Section 1 in www.ti.com/.../tidue41.pdf

"Software support in the Processor SDK is not officially available. However, useful software references for U-Boot and the Linux kernel are available at the TIDEP-0097 tool page."

    Hello Biser-san,

I've already seen the description; however, I cannot find the way to download the software.
I found "Processor Software Development Kit (SDK) for Linux, Android, and QNX development" in the TIDEP-0097 page.
However, I cannot know the way to get this software.

    Hi Nomo-san,

you can find the software mentioned in the TIDEP-0097 page here:
    www.ti.com/.../processor-sdk-dra7x

(just note that it is for DRA71x processor and could be used just as reference for your AM57x development)

    Regards,
    Yordan

    Hello Yordan-san,

    Thank you for your reply.
    I'll check it.

  • In reply to Nomo:

    Hi Nomo,

You may browse the kernel and u-boot source for "DRA71x LCARD" that this board is based on. You can likely make the official Processor SDK work on this LCARD board by taking the required changes from u-boot (DDR, PMIC, pinmuxing) and the Linux device tree (board and peripheral configs).
