Part Number: AM5728

Tool/software: Linux

Hi

I want to use the fftlib to do 1024k points FFT,  I have run the Linux on the AM5728's ARM CPU, but  I do not know how to run  the fftlib on the C66X DSP,  are there some materials  can help me ?

Thank you!

  • There are several inter processor communication mechanism to allow ARM Linux to deploy tasks to the slave core DSP and M4 as discussed below:
    software-dl.ti.com/.../Foundational_Components_IPC.html

If the DSP is only performing number crunching and doesn`t require the peripheral interfaces then I recommend that you use TI OpenCL. There is is FFT example, Linear algebra and OpenCV example in the Linux SDK for this device that shows how this can be performed:
    downloads.ti.com/.../index.html

Please review the material and let us know if you have any questions.

    Regards,
    Rahul
