66AK2G12: Reset pins - hardware connections

Part Number: 66AK2G12

Hello,

I'll like to connect a tactile switch to the reset.

I've connected the tactile switch to Resetn pin, I'm not sure that I connected the rest correct.

The PORn I connected to the TPS65911A pin NRESPWRON2
The Resetstatn I connected to other peripherals that require a reset.

I'm not sure what to do with Resetfulln, Lresetn, LRESETNMIENn and NMIn. since I'm not using them.

Please advice.

Regards,
Snir

  • Hi Snir,

Section 2.3 Reset from the 66AK2G02 Schematic Checklist () & Section 5.3 Reset Management from the TRM () describe how resets should be handled in your HW design.

You can also refer to the K2G EVMs:

Please note that Resets are part of the power-up/power-down sequences, you must comply with that, see Section 5.9.1 Power Supply Sequencing from the datasheet:

    Best Regards,
    Yordan
