Dear All,

We are working on video and audio processing system and we are consider TMS320DM8165 in our application.

We have following for TMS320DM8165 interface.

Does support I2S master and slave mode in audio interface?
Does support Full HD video process in camera/Image sensor interface?
We need to interface audio and video output of ADV7612 HDMI receiver to TMS320DM8165 processor. Is there any limitation for interface or work find without any issues? see below link for HDMI receiver

Yes, DM816x support I2S master/slave for McASP/McBSP modules.

DM816x support Full HD video 1080p/i, but there is no camera/image sensor interface. DM816x has HDVPSS (high-definition video processing subsystem) for video input/output.

I can not find someone tested and verified ADV7612 HDMI receiver to work fine with DM816x device. Are you planning to connect the ADV7612 HDMI output to the DM816x HDVPSS?

Yes, We need to connect ADV7612 HDMI Output to TMS320DM8165 HDVPSS and we need to do video processing in TMS320DM8165/TMS320DM816X EVK.

Can we connect Full HD HDMI output to TMS320DM8165 HDVPSS? if not possible then suggest suitable solution.

Please let know use of HDVPSS port.

Hi Botev,
I am using Dm8168 with DVRRDK_03.50.00.05 . Here I am facing problem with audio. While playback the audio get stopped after 10,15 minutes. Problem with " OSA_queGet(&pAudPlay->bufQFreeBufsAudPlay, (Int32*)(&pEmptyBufAudPlay), OSA_TIMEOUT_NONE)". This returning status as -1 after 10 ,15 min. So what would be the solution to solve this issue?

ADV7612 is convert HDMI to 32 bit parallel output with sync signal as per below image.

As per our requirement we need to connect parallel output to video processor for video processing.

Can we connect ADV7612 parallel output to TMS320DM8165 HDVPSS for video processor? if not possible then suggest suitable solution?
