Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP006
We are planning to implement a TMP007 in a device that requires about a 12:1 Range to FOV ratio in order to measure the opposing wall temperature in a room, and I have the following questions:
Q1: Can this be achieved using the cover design with resultant apertures of 0.30mm with the cover height of 4 mm. The math indicates this possible , but has this been reduced to practice. ( I only see very short range applications)
Q2: In our application , The TMP007 is mounted on a separate PCB with no other components ( heat sources) . Is their any additional thermal mass required ?
Q3: Assuming the TMP007 has a cover with a small aperture , do cross convection currents have any impact to the temperature reading ?
Q4 : Can you provide any information on any products that have implemented this sensor ?
