Hello, TI Experts,

Our customer sent us some questions about DMA transfer with PCI Express.

From TRM(SPRUHZ6I) "Chapter 16 DMA Controllers",

they cannot find any signal connection between EDMA and PCIE.

Questions:

- How to use DMA for PCIE data transfer?

- Are there sample code or document for PCIE data transfer with DMA?

We would appreciate if you tell us the recommended way of PCIE data transfer with DMA.

I really appreciate your help.

I understand some evaluation is progress in Linux SDK about PCIE data transfer with DMA from the E2E threads which you guide.

How about RTOS SDK?

Are there any sample code or document for PCIE data transfer with DMA?

Our customer plan to use AM5728 for Audio application.

They are concerned with real-time DSP processing usage by using DMA and PCIE.

There is PCIE + DMA example on AM5728 Processor SDK RTOS processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Processor_SDK_RTOS_PCIe
