The recommended schematic for the TMS320C54CST includes a TVS on pin C1A (pin 73).
I tried a BAT54S and the DSP did not run.
I used a BAV99 and the DSP ran normally.
Can you please explain why the BAT54S prevented the DSP from running?
I don't see anything in the spec sheet for the BAT54S that would prevent the DSP from running except possibly the capacitance. The BAV99 is 2pF while the BAT54S is 10pF.
