I follow TI81XX_PSP_VIDEO_CAPTURE_Driver_User_Guide and when I try to Load V4L2 capture and dependent modules, I get this error :

root@dm814x-evm:/lib/modules/2.6.37/kernel/drivers/dsp# insmod syslink.ko
insmod: error inserting 'syslink.ko': -1 File exists
root@dm814x-evm:/lib/modules/2.6.37/kernel/drivers/video/ti81xx/vpss# insmod vpss.ko
insmod: error inserting 'vpss.ko': -1 File exists

Is there a step that I have not followed?

There is a step to build the modules:

Build module for the drivers

$ make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=PATH_TO_TOOLCHAIN/bin/arm-arago-linux-gnueabi- modules

 

Make sure at this steps syslink.ko and vpss.ko modules are built and installed in their folders:

/lib/modules/2.6.37/kernel/drivers/dsp/

/lib/modules/2.6.37/kernel/drivers/video/ti81xx/vpss/

I already had buid modules like this :

syslink.ko and vpss.ko are built and installed in their folders :

cmemk.ko    syslink.ko

root@dm814x-evm:/lib/modules/2.6.37/kernel/drivers/video/ti81xx/vpss# ls        
vpss.ko

But I have the same error :

root@dm814x-evm:/lib/modules/2.6.37/kernel/drivers/dsp# insmod syslink.ko

Provide the output of the below commands:

vpss and syslink modules are already inserted, that is why system report that these modules already exist
