    We are using Orcad capture 16.6. I don't see any way of saving to an earlier version.

    Hi Lahcen,

    I found a post at the follow site that suggests that the schematic in version 16.2 should be compatible with earlier versions.

    Give this version of the file a try and let me know if you can open it.
