Recently we received a feedback from a customer that when the USB speakerphone (C5534 CHIP) connects to an Android terminal, the driver recognition goes too slowly, every time after connected via USB, it takes about 40-50 seconds to get the driver recognized.  Regarding this problem, the customer requires us to optimize it to be within 10 seconds. The customer also tested products such as Jabra, Conexant and C-Media, the driver can be recognized right after connected via USB with their Android terminal.

Please provide some help to solve this problem and make the driver of C5534 be recognized within 10s by terminals.
  • Hi,

I've notified the sw team. They will post their feedback directly here.

Please share which CSL version are you building your driver on?

  • Simon,

The connected audio framework was not tested on Android when at the time of release, so its not quite geared for that OS.
The best approach is to check the USB bus to sniff out on which transaction its failing.

It possible that there is some optional feature that its trying to enumerate, and then timing out and moves on during the handshake. So, would be good to start with the transaction debug information.
