Hello,

Can I ask you to specify exact versions of download files to try "motor_control_AM437x_arm" project?

 

I tried to find my best answer. There are four items, but some questions were remaining:

 

(1) EtherCAT Slave Package (version 01.00.07 or later)

Specified by TIDU800a.pdf, p6. *** But the latest ver is 1.0.6.

 

(2) Industrial Drives Package (version 01.00.02 or later)

Specified by TIDU800a.pdf, p6. *** But the latest ver is 1.0.1.

 

(3) Processor SDK RTOS for AM437x 4.3.0

(4) Code Composer Studio 7.4.0

Specified by TIDU800a.pdf, p6 "EtherCAT Slave Package release notes"

    Hi,

    We've recently updated this TI Design to include the CiA402 drive profile as well as make the encoder interface interchangeable.

    Unfortunately the documentation has been updated before the software has been released publicly (as you've found).

    I am checking internally to see if there is a way to share the updated software (which will be released soon) or provide an archived version of the Design Guide that will work with the currently available versions of the software.

    I will update here once I get a response.

    I've received word from the software team that the updated packages should be released to TI.com later this month or early next month. The packages will be found here when they are released: www.ti.com/.../PRU-ICSS-INDUSTRIAL-SW

    Unfortunately I cannot share the packages early and there is also no archived version of the document available online.
