Hi,

If I am running server code on L138 and client code on PC. then connection is getting established. But if I am running server on PC and client on L138 then connection is failed , why?

Which Linux SDK version are you using? Is this OMAP-L138 LCDK or a custom board?

This is OMAP-L138 LCDK. I am using linux eclipse for software development.

You should use the socket programming to manage ethernet through linux user space application. Have a look at the following resources (these are just examples):

www.geeksforgeeks.org/.../

I've managed to get the OMAP-L138 working with the example in the second link (with modifications that match your use case of course).

Thankx for your response. But with port number 8080, the client code on L138 is getting connected without any server running on PC. But when I am changing the port number then it is not getting connected. Kindly resolve my issue.

Hi,

This is a custom user space linux application, TI does NOT support this. There is no kernel error or problem with the ethernet drivers.

You probably did not configure correctly the sockets in your program.
