I am researching the codes of the example NIMU_BasicExample_skAM437x_armExampleproject, pdk_am437x_1_0_10,processor_sdk_rtos_am437x_4_03_00_05.

I found the MMU enabled by function SDKMMUInit(), but where is the cache enable? and where is the cache parameter set?

Hi,

This project has a .cfg file: /ti/transport/ndk/nimu/example/am437x/armv7/bios/nimu_skam437x.cfg

Cache is enabled by:
/* ================ Cache and MMU configuration ================ */

var Cache = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.family.arm.a9.Cache');
Cache.enableCache = true;

Hi Eric,
in XGCONF, if the cache is set, The following description will appear in .cfg:
var ti_sysbios_hal_Cache = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.hal.Cache');

is this description equivalent to：
var Cache = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.family.arm.a9.Cache');
Cache.enableCache = true;
？

Hi,

I looked at the software-dl.ti.com/.../Cache.html for ti.sysbios.hal.Cache

and

software-dl.ti.com/.../Cache.html for ti.sysbios.family.arm.a9.Cache

They are not the same. The first one is more generic and the second one is for ARM 9. Since you are using AM437x, please use:
var Cache = xdc.useModule('ti.sysbios.family.arm.a9.Cache');
Cache.enableCache = true;
