AM3352: SPI Flash memory device selection

Hi Champs,

We would like to use W25Q256JVEOM(Winbond) SPI flash memory.

Could you please check if this device is able to use for AM335x ?

If you are not able to comment this , Could you please tell us what is key parameter to confirm to use this device .

We found only SPRUH73P (26.1.8.6 SPI) document.

Do you have any other solution guide ?

    Hi,

    Yes, this is the correct chapter from the TRM. Specific requirements to boot from SPI flash are listed in 26.1.8.6.1. The SPI memory must conform to these requirements. Pins used for SPI boot are listed in 26.1.8.6.4. There are no additional requirements for SPI memories from AM335x side.
