DRA71XEVM: Peripheral boot over uart

Hello,

I need to boot the Jacinto 6 board with DRA71xx CPU over UART. Is there any tool that would allow me to do that?

I was able to load the MLO using https://github.com/nmenon/omap-u-boot-utils but there's no output on console afterwards and loading u-boot using teraterm xmodem feature timeouts...

Hi Jakub,

Processor SDK Linux Automotive do not support UART boot:
processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php

Hi Yordan,

thank you for the answer. However the CPU itself seems to support the USB boot. Could the Processor SDK for am57x be used? These CPUs should be similar as to my knowledge.

Hi Jakub,

yes, it is supported by the hardware, you can check Chapter 33-Initialization of the devices TRM for details:

You can have a look at this document:

The procedure described here is for GLSDK, which is "predecessor" of the PSDKLA and is based on 3.14 kernel, you can check for download link here:
