Hi Drahus, unfortunately, we don't have any how-to or TI design you can follow. But there is a good amount of videos on how to connect a Siemens Semantic PLC with an slave and setup some variables, a type of hello world for Profinet.

Hi Paula and RonB Thanks for your answers,

The connection between Siemens PLC and AMIC110 is done.

What I'm looking for is another example of the data exchanged between them. After setup the PLC with the GSDML file and the engineering tool I'm getting the value 0x55 from the default state of appInData  (due to the fact I'm not using any swither).

I changed this default value in the code gbyCurrentData = 0x55; and yes is changing in the PLC data received. Until here ok.

What I miss is some other examples like more elaborated data exchange, more inputs and outputs involved, transfers longer than a byte, etc.

It's clear that sending data to the PLC with gbyCurrentData works with one module. How to select other modules or how to receive from other modules. in this example?.
