DRA80M: MCU_FSS0_* symbols / registers

Part Number: DRA80M

Per a customer question, could you please let me know the description of the following registers / data regions that are mentioned in the TRM in the memory map.

Apparently, those symbols are not mentioned anywhere further in the document.

Table 2-3. MCU Domain Memory Map (continued) from the TRM SPRUIE8C.

  • John,

Refer to the latest TRM that is on ti.com:

    Registers are in section:

    12.3.1.6 FSS Registers

    Regards,

    Kyle

  • Hi Kyle, all,

    Thank you for the feedback.

I have checked the attached document, but unfortunately the registers of interest are not mentioned there (description). Could you then maybe specify the exact page where we could find description for them?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards,

    Vladimir

  • Vladimir,

I don't quite follow the question.  There are lots of register sections with the prefix MCU_FSS_<region>.  Inside those regions are things like HPB (Hyperbus), OSPI, etc.

    Refer to the following tables:

    Table 12-5841. FSS Instances

Table 12-5891. OSPI Global Control Instances

Table 12-5905. OSPI Module Configuration Instances

Etc.  Inside each of those sections are individual register definitions.

    Such as this single example:

Table 12-5914. OSPI_DEV_INSTR_WR_CONFIG_REG Register Field Descriptions

    Which includes descriptions.

Are you able to see those items in your PDF?  Alternatively, what "description" do you find missing?

    Thanks,

    Kyle

  • Hi Kyle,

Thank you for the answer. What I am looking for is the set of registers from my screenshot in the top of the thread (marked as green). For example MCU_FSS0_DAT_REG1 - cant find this one for example.

    Best regards,

    Vladimir

  • Kyle,

As we discussed, I don't think the image came through originally.  I've fixed the media issue and reposted the screen shot, with the green highlights Vladimir mentions.

  • John, Vladimir,

OK, the question is more clear now that I can see the image.

    Those regions are documented in

    Table 12-5840. FSS Memory Regions

    Regards,

    Kyle
