TDA3MV: cvideo_tvout coupling capacitor (optional)

Hi Experts,

I have a question about TDA3 TVOUT (cvideo_tvout coupling capacitor (optional)). Does following 1 or 2 work well (does TDA3 output fine)?

1. Remove coupling capacitor (optional)
2. Place coupling capacitor far from TDA3x device (for instance place it around display device on different board from TDA3x board)

    The TDA3 TVOUT will output signal with or without the AC coupling capacitor.  As mentioned, it is optional - and is really dependent on the peripheral the TVOUT signal is driving into.  If the peripheral needs to have any DC-offset removed (AC signal only), then the AC coupling capacitor should be used.  Placement of the AC capacitor does not matter.  It can be located near the TDA3 device or near the peripheral (on a different board).
