Hi,
I am using OMAPL138 and I want to reduce power consumption by disabling clock of some interfaces. Are there any documents with power consumption of interfaces (like UART, McBSP,...) based on their frequency?

Hi Dmitiry

I would recommend starting with the power estimation tool to estimate the power savings for changing device voltage, frequency and peripheral clock frequencies or clock gating etc

What OS are you using with OMAP L138?

I am using SYS/BIOS 6.73.0.12. I have already used voltage and frequency scaling. But I am using real time application with high requirements and now I want periodically turn off and on some interfaces. I want to know how much I can benefit from this.

I recommend looking at the power estimation spreadsheet in the previous post to understand the degree of savings for various frequency and clock disabling options.
