How about the max resolution for LCD panel which is connected to DSS on AM437x?
I'm little bit confused about max resolution of DSS.
According to TRM,
• Display Controller
– Display Modes
• Programmable display size (up to 2048 x 2048)
• Programmable pixel rate (up to 100 MHz)
• Remote Frame Buffer Interface
– RFB interface
• 8/9/12/16-bit parallel interface (up to QVGA@30fps at nominal voltage)
The above means, Display controller can send the pixel data up to 2048x2048 to RFBI, however,
RFBI can only handle the data up to QVGA (320x240).
Therefore,
max resolution on RFBI mode is QVGA (320x240)
max resolution on bypass mode is 2048x2048.
Is it correct?
