I am working on a device design based on AM4377 processor. This device is connected to external system via Ethernet and like wise we will form a daisy chained linear network using external 3-port switch. We use Ethernet/IP protocol and will be using one Ethernet port in PRU subsystem of AM4377 processor.
My query is, whether 3-port switch functionality shall be implemented using the 2 PRU Ethernet ports available in AM4377 processor? Where i can connect one port to the external system and another port to the next similar device.
