TMDSEVM572X: boot from eMMC

Hi Experts,

Does TMDSEVM572X support the boot from eMMC?

According to http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/docs/latest/linux/Foundational_Components_U-Boot.html, the table for "Compiling MLO and u-boot" seems that AM572x GP EVM does not support eMMC boot.

On the other hand, there is "3.1.1.6.6. Booting MLO and u-boot from eMMC boot partition" explains "am57xx processors support booting from the eMMC boot partition."

Could you please teach me about the procedure for the boot from eMMC if AM572x GP EVM supports.

Hi Hitoshi-san,

Apologies for the delayed response.

It is possible to boot from eMMC on the AM572x GP EVM. For Android we boot from eMMC by default. Let me verify a few things on my board for the Linux case and get back with you.
