Part Number: OMAPL138B-EP
I have been using omapl-138 starterware application's bootloader project to program nand flash on my custom board successfully.
Now, we want to replace the NAND flash with NOR flash (as NOR has 20 years of data retention). But the problem is that there is no configuration available for NOR flash in bootloader project of omapl-138 starterware.
Is there any other method to program NOR flash?
Or will this NOR flash work fine with existing bootloader application?
Have you referred to the following bootloader documents?
Using the OMAP-L132/L138 Bootloader Application Report (Rev. F)
OMAPL138/C6748 ROM Bootloader Resources and FAQ
We are glad that we were able to resolve this issue, and will now proceed to close this thread.

In reply to Sahin Okur:
Thanks for the prompt reply.
In both documents, nothing is mentioned regarding secondary bootloader i.e. Starterware Application of OMAPL-138
I am talking about this,
I am talking about NOR flash support in the Bootloader project.
Could you please verify it through concerned personell?
I am still waiting for the reply... Please.
In reply to Awais Khan:
There isn't a NOR flash writer in Starterware, but there is a NORWriter project in the OMAP-L138 Serial Boot and Flash Loading Utility package. Would this work for you?
Thank you so much.
