Could you tell me the specs of a power supply that should be used with TMDSEMU560V2STM-UE?

The power supply specs only describe that the output voltage / current is 5V / 5.0A in the product page: http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMU560V2STM-UE

Are the power output connector specs as follows?

- Barrel connector with 2.5 mm inner diameter and 5.5 mm outer diameter contact

- Positive inner and negative outer terminals

What other specs are required?

Unfortunately my XDS560v2STM is locked in my office, thus I can't get its exact specifications.

I found the related thread below that covers the XDS ProTrace power supply, which is most probably identical to the XDS560v2STM.

Did you try to contact Spectrum Digital support (the manufacturer of the kit)?

All the kits come with their properly rated power supply, do you need to replace a defective one?

Thank you for your reply.

I have contacted Spectrum Digital support as suggested to you and am waiting for a reply.

My company is a distributor of TI products. The power supplies attached to EVMs and emulators are not delivered to our customers because they do not have PSE which is the safety certification for electrical equipment in Japan. Our customers need to know the specs to buy a power supply.

I got the answer from Spectrum Digital support.

The specification for the power supply for the XDS560v2 STM (TMDSEMU560V2STM-UE) is as follows:

+5V DC output
3.0A
Center Positive
Barrel: Outer is 5.5mm, Inner is 2.1mm
