TMDSSK3358: Serial console

Is there a method to get serial connection for a boot console on the Starter Kit?

I have attempted using the J3 USB port, which provides /dev/ttyUSB0,1 on Ubuntu but it disconnects those on restart which make it difficult to see what the boot process is doing.

any suggestions?

Hi,

The J3 USB port is the only debug port available on the Starter Kit.

Biser - Thanks for clarifying. I was able to get it working after reinstalling the SDK (which had not been properly configured in the first place) and running the setup script which connects the host tty correctly.
