TDA4VMXEVM: PSDKRA 07_00_00_11 doesn't work Vision Apps Multi Camera Application with IMX390(D3RCM)

Hi Hiro,

Can you please check if all your cameras are working fine, by connecting them one by one to cam0 port and checking with single cam application? I doubt there is some issue in camera..

I already confirmed four camera modules. They work with single cam application.  Camera modules are no problem.

I found the freezing cause.  I changed /opt/vision_apps/app_multi_cam.cfg (en_out_viss_write 1) to capture the VISS YUV for 3D surround view calibration tool.
The four multi cam application works with default config (en_out_viss_write 0).

My understanding is that the 3D surround calibration tool needs four camera VISS YUV images, but the default config can't capture VISS YUV.  Is this correct?
If so, how to capture four camera VISS YUV?

Hi Hiro,

Does it hang only when you try save files? or does it hang even in normal running condition? 

I think normal condition is exactly same as when this flag is disabled. So it should work without it.

Are you trying to use manual calibration? If you are using auto calibration, then no need to save files..

The hung up is not only in saving files.  Multi cam app shows the images to Display0 for few seconds, after that the app hungs up.
Cam0 image looks ok, but cam1-3 are greenish when hung up, so I guess white balance process has a problem.

I'm trying manual calibration with Windows calibration tool. (PSDKRA_UserGuide_3D_SurroundView_Manual_CalibTool.pdf)

"3- Step1: Input Images" in this User Guide, the calibration tool needs four YUV images, so I'm trying to save the YUV images using Multi cam app.

The calibration tool needs four camera YUV images with calibration chart, so I'm trying to capture four YUV images using Multi cam app.

What is your recommend to capture four YUV images with calibration chart for tool?

Surround view calibration usecase works.  I could capture VISS YUV images using Surround view calibration app.
