Hi Can I ask when there will be samples available? and roughly the 100 off price.  Will there be an EVK with a camera option

    ajayt,

    AM6526 samples will be available later in the year, but you can disable A53 cluster 1 and the GPU through software with the current samples.

    There is no plan for an updated EVM or IDK kit. However, the CSI-2 interface from the AM65x processor is terminated to two camera connectors to interface a CSI-2 standard camera:

    •  J22 – 40-pin Samtec connector, which is referenced from OV490/ OV10640 Combo Module

    •  J39 – 36-pin Molex connector, which is referred from Leopard Imaging CPI (VIN) Connector

    I edited the previous post to correct a typo. You can disable A53 cluster 1.

    Many thanks, when will the pricing show up on the web?  Also, have you or will you have a power usage estimater for the family?

    ajayt,

    AM6548 samples are available today with the part number X6580AACD. AM6548 is the superset device and includes the same capabilities of AM6526 and more, so suitable for early development across any of the planned part variants in the family. The AM65x family of processors will go to production in 1Q 2021 and we expect to have all part variants, including AM6526, available for order entry around end of March or April.

    The PET will be available in a few months.
